4. Refund Policy

EDW Business Solutions provides professional accounting services, tax assistance preparation services, and knowledge base services. Due to the nature of our work—where labor, expertise, and time are invested into each engagement—all fees paid for completed work are non-refundable.
However, we are committed to fairness and customer satisfaction. Refunds may be considered under specific circumstances described below.
1.2 Refund Eligibility
A client may qualify for a partial or full refund only if:

No work has begun on the client’s account at the time the refund is requested.

A significant error or service failure occurred directly due to EDW Business Solutions and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time.

The client was charged in error or received a duplicate charge.
1.3 Non-Refundable Items
The following are strictly non-refundable:

Completed bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reports, tax assistance preparation

Any monthly or annual subscription services

Hourly consulting or project-based work already performed

Setup fees or onboarding fees

Any third-party software fees paid through EDW Business Solutions
1.4 Refund Process
If a client believes they are eligible for a refund:

A written request must be submitted to help@edwsolutions.com within 7 days of the billing date.

EDW Business Solutions will review the request within 5–10 business days.

If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
2. Product Subscription Policy
EDW Business Solutions offers monthly and annual subscription plans for ongoing bookkeeping, advisory, tax assistance preparation services, and a knowledge base center.
2.1 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.

Billing can occur automatically on the renewal date as an option.
2.2 Subscription Levels
Each subscription tier includes defined services such as transaction limits, number of accounts, meeting frequency, and reporting.
Additional services outside the plan will be billed separately and require client approval.
2.3 Automatic Renewal
All subscriptions renewals can be selected as automatic and can be cancelled according to the cancellation policy.
2.4 Subscription Changes
Clients may:

Upgrade at any time (prorated immediately)

Downgrade at the end of the current billing cycle

Add services à la carte at pre-approved rates
2.5 Non-Payment / Failed Payments
If a payment fails:

The client will receive an email or text notification.

A 5-day grace period will be provided.

After 5 days of non-payment, services may be paused.

After 15 days of non-payment, services may be terminated, and a reactivation fee may apply.
3. Subscription Cancellation Rules
3.1 Client-Initiated Cancellation

Clients may cancel their subscription at any time by emailing help@edwsolutions.com.

Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle.

No refunds are issued for unused time in the current billing period.
3.2 Company-Initiated Cancellation
EDW Business Solutions may terminate a subscription if:

The client repeatedly fails to provide required documents

Non-payment continues for 15 days
-
Abuse, harassment, or unprofessional behavior occurs

The client engages in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical financial activity
Clients will receive notice before termination unless legally prohibited.
3.3 Offboarding
Upon cancellation:

Final work will be completed through the paid billing period
-
Client files and reports will be exported and delivered within 10 business days

EDW Business Solutions may securely retain files for compliance purposes
5. Eligibility Criteria for Services
To maintain accuracy, compliance, and quality of service, EDW Business Solutions requires:

Clients must:

Provide complete and accurate financial records

Grant access to accounting platforms, bank statements, and required systems

Respond to information requests within reasonable timeframes

Maintain lawful and ethical business practices
5.2 Business Requirements
EDW Business Solutions serves:

Small businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, and service providers

U.S.-based businesses (international by approval)
-
Clients using approved accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, etc.)
5.3 Disqualification or Ineligibility
Clients may be deemed ineligible if:

They refuse to maintain accurate records

The nature of their business conflicts with regulatory or ethical requirements

Their financial activity poses significant risk
-
They require services outside EDW’s designated expertise
6. Customer Experience Policy
EDW Business Solutions is committed to professionalism, accuracy, clarity, and proactive support.
6.1 Communication Standards

All client communication will be addressed within 1–2 business days.

Meetings will start and end on time and follow a clear agenda.

All deliverables will include professional presentation and documentation.
6.2 Service Quality Standards

6.3 Client Conduct Expectations
Clients agree to:

Maintain professional communication

Provide timely information

Respect deadlines, appointments, and processes

Abide by the contract or subscription agreement
6.4 Feedback & Issue Resolution

Clients are encouraged to submit feedback anytime.

Service issues will be acknowledged within 1–2 business days.

A resolution plan will be provided within 5 business days.
6.5 Commitment to Confidentiality
All client financial information is confidential and protected under strict data privacy and security protocols.
7. Intellectual Property
